Instructional Design & eLearning Portfolio
Below you will find samples of my work in the magical world of instructional design and eLearning. Click on a project or file name below to view or download it.
FoxyLearning
FoxyLearning is a small company I own and operate that sells access to online tutorials for higher and continuing education. I designed and developed the website, and did all of the instructional design and development work (even the cheesy audio narration!) for the tutorials. View sample lessons from An Introduction to Relational Frame Theory or An Introduction to Verbal Behavior.
Flash Animations and Interactions
These animations and interactions were developed in Adobe Flash for a previous version of my "An Introduction to Relational Frame Theory" tutorial. They are taken a bit out of context here, but you should get the general idea.
Reading and Interpreting Topographic Maps
This instructional program was developed in 2003 for use in a geology course at Arizona State University. The instruction was written by a doctoral student at ASU, and I worked with another developer to create the Flash-based program. I used PHP and MySQL to record student responding (disabled in this sample). This sample includes the introduction and first lesson of the program.
Helping Timmy Tact Toys: A Systematic Approach to Teaching Concepts for Applied Behavior Analysts
These materials were developed for a three-hour workshop delivered at the annual convention of the Association for Behavior Analysis International in Chicago (May 2008).
Flashing Psychologists: Using Macromedia Flash to Develop Computer Programs in Applied and Experimental Psychology
These materials were developed for a one-day workshop presented to the psychology departments at the National University of Ireland, Maynooth and the National University of Ireland, Galway (November 2004).
